LINC-ED Hero - Hero Consultant Role (School Administration Specialist)


LINC-ED is an EdTech company on a mission to transform school communication, by providing a highly customisable end-to-end solution. LINC-ED Hero is a powerful suite of software applications that has the potential to revolutionise how schools share, track and communicate learning, whilst taking care of all student management and regulatory requirements.

Due to growth, we have decided to bring on-board another talented individual to join our team of heroes. Our company has grown rapidly over the last few years and it continues to do so. 

To make the very best of Hero, schools are provided with high-quality service. As a team of experienced educators and school office administrators, we understand schools’ needs and, as such, our support is highly effective. 

The tasks and responsibilities are wide-ranging and include:

  • Business development and sales - provide presentations, online and in person, for prospective schools focusing on the school office administration and billing modules of Hero.

  • Effective onboarding training for school office administration: including webinars, workshops and individual sessions.

  • Design and delivery of consulting services to client schools on the Student Information System (SIS) module of Hero.

  • Fostering and maintaining relationships with school office administrators and finance executives.

  • Create content and resources to support client schools.

  • Provide deep domain knowledge to assist our customer support team.

  • Inform the Hero development team by providing user feedback.

Experience in school office administration and finance (student billing) is essential. LINC-ED Hero experience is advantageous.

Location:

Christchurch. Must be able to travel.

  • Fostering and maintaining relationships with a set of client schools.

  • Creating content and resources to support client schools.

  • Providing deep domain knowledge to assist our customer support team.

  • Informing the Hero development team by providing user feedback.

  • In-depth knowledge of the New Zealand Curriculum is essential.

  • Must have teaching/school leadership experience.

  • Experience with LINC-ED or Hero software is advantageous.

Due to growth, we have decided to bring on-board another talented individual to join our team of heroes. This role is not a boring administrative role. If you are looking to gain valuable experience at the outset of your career, then we can provide just the right environment.

Our company has grown rapidly over the last few years and it continues to do so. What this means is that new and interesting challenges come up daily, so there is huge potential for developing new skills through a range of different projects and tasks.

The duties are wide-ranging and include but are not limited to:

  • CEO and senior staff support on key projects

  • Office administration, including CRM management

  • Communication with client schools

  • Event coordination

  • Liaise with outside agencies

  • Manage the office space - ensure the environment is well supplied and a pleasant place to work.
